Supplies Needed:

Black
Teal
Coral Red
Royal Green Blue
Papago Turquoise
Peacock Green
Yellow Orange
White
Morning Glory
Sierra Yellow
Brick Red
Petal Pink
Jade Green
Midnight Blue
Chartreuse
Flesh

Use any greenware piece. Clean piece as usual - place pattern on piece.

1. Background - Mix White and Morning Glory 3 to 1. Scrub in background leaving space for clouds.
2. Cows - Paint spots Black. Mix equal amounts Petal Pink and Flesh and paint muzzle and Udders.
3. Green Wings - From base of wings out feather half way with Yellow Orange. From the tip of the wing in feather in Chartreuse and blend the line. Shade end of wings with Jade Green then shade where wings overlap and edges of wings with Royal Blue Green.
4. Orange Wings - Using same process base wing with Yellow Orange, using equal amounts of Sierra Yellow and Coral Red from tips of wings to middle. Using Brick Red shade overlap and outside edges of wing.
5. Blue Wings - Base with Papago Turquoise from the tip of wing feather in Peacock Green. Blend line and shade with Teal. Overlap and outside edge of the wing shade with Midnight Blue.
6. Clouds - Two coats of White. Then side load in Morning Glory using a "C" stroke, pull in the wisps of the clouds.
7. Handle and Checkered Band - Two coats of Morning Glory.
8. Detail in Black. Eyes - Black. Wings detail in White.
9. Sign your piece.
