Brushstroke Tips

Beware of Backstrokes

When using underglaze do not backstroke when applying as this will cause a pile up of paint or a pulling off of paint already applied

Practice

To practice brush strokes get a piece of acetate (Clear plastic) Most paints will adhere to the surface and it can be washed to be used again.
Another way -
To practice brushstrokes place your pattern inside a plastic page protector sleeve -and paint over the pattern on the plastic sleeve. It is easy to wipe the sleeve clean and it keeps your pattern clean and reusable over & over again.
