BANDING

To make cantering on the banding wheel easier make a small guide line on the turntable then spray with sealer for permanence.

When you start to band very small items or irregularly based items secure the piece to the banding wheel with florist's clay

Round and tear shaped ornaments can be propped inside a sand filled container on the turntable. Spray can lids, empty glaze bottles and paper cups make good containers for this purpose.
