This years worthy recipient of the Cleo Curtis Award is Donna McCombie, Charter member from Sun City, Arizona. This most prestigious Award of the organization is presented every year at convention, chosen by the Area Representative from petitions submitted.

Donna joined NADCT in Kansas City, MO and was a Charter member of the very first Chapter established, The Mid-America Chapter. She served on committees and as an officer. Their Chapter sponsored one of the very first Regionals held and continued for a number of times to host them. Donna continued her membership after moving to Arizona and then joining the Saguaro Chapter, there also became involved. She served as Secretary and also as President. During the term Rose Mary Bodenheimer served as President, she was Rose Mary’s right hand. She was the very first person to put the membership list on a computer. She wrote Rose Mary’s letters, helped in publishing the newsletter, a great asset to Rose Mary and to then IACDT. Not many years ago Desert Rose Chapter was formed, of which Donna again was a Charter member. She has served as Treasurer of the Chapter and instrumented the Membership Directory which has been a great tool for the members.

Donna is involved in China Painting, as a teacher and a member of two China Painting groups. She is active in the Annual China Painting show held in Arizona and is active in the Desert Rose non-selling show. It was through her efforts that a wonderful display of China Painting was exhibited at last years show.

IADCCT is proud to have presented this award to Donna, and feel that Desert Rose Chapter is very proud of this lovely lady.

CONGRATULATIONS, DONNA!
